Anthony Pantano is Department Chairman of the Firm's Transactional Department specializing in the areas of Corporate, Real Estate and Tax, Trusts and Estates Law. Mr. Pantano regularly counsels private and public companies and their executives in most aspects of law and business including corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions and securities.

Mr. Pantano's client representation on corporate and transactional matters is quite extensive and is conducted across the United States. These transactions have included debt restructurings, conventional financings, and the selling off of equity in existing projects. He has extensive experience in all types of business transactions, including public debt financings, public offerings of debt, mergers and acquisitions, LBOs by management of the divisions or companies they are running, and the buying and selling of companies both as part of a strategic acquisition or divestiture program and on a company-by-company basis. In addition, Mr. Pantano has represented clients engaged in real estate joint ventures and real estate development. These transactions have involved both public and privately-held companies, have usually involved significant tax considerations as an integral part of the overall planning, and have required dealing with both state and federal regulatory authorities.

Mr. Pantano has represented entrepreneurs in the start-up of new businesses taking an idea from concept to reality, including obtaining start-up capital, bank financing, and the assembling of a management team. Clients seek Mr. Pantano's advice and counsel on matters which include determining the viability of a new business concept, as well as financial and tax restructuring. In addition, Mr. Pantano advises boards of directors and senior executives on current issues such as executive compensation, corporate compliance and venture capital financing.

The breadth of Mr. Pantano's experience enables him to bring positive solutions to problems and to anticipate and react quickly to changes in a transaction which could negatively impact its outcome. Creativity, good judgment and hard work are all hallmarks of Mr. Pantano's practice.

Mr. Pantano attended Georgetown University (B.S., 1986) and Villanova University School of Law (L.L.M., 1994; J.D., 1989). He is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association and the New York State Bar Association and is admitted to practice in New Jersey and New York.
