Joseph S. Sherman is counsel at the firm and focuses his practice on real estate tax appeals, land use and zoning, guardianship and incompetency proceedings.
Mr. Sherman was admitted to practice law in New Jersey in 1987. Mr. Sherman is an active member of the Hudson County Bar Association and New Jersey State Bar Association. In addition, Mr. Sherman is a past president of the Hudson County Bar Association.
Mr. Sherman has served as Hudson County Counsel and as Corporation Counsel to the City of Hoboken. Mr. Sherman has extensive experience in matters relating to the Open Public Records Act, the Open Public Meetings Act and all forms of local government law.
Mr. Sherman is a former member of the Hudson County District Ethics Committee.
Mr. Sherman is a 1985 graduate of Washburn University School of Law in Topeka Kansas
and received a masters degree from Wichita State University; and a bachelors degree from Southwestern College.
